    Hi All,

I am having a go at brewing nettle feed for the first time. It is 2 weeks old and when I checked it today there are a lot of white maggots in it. Is this normal/ok to use?

Two weeks seems rather a short time. I make comfrey feed and it takes at least a couple of months to make a decent brew. The longer I leave it the stronger it becomes.
As for the maggots, I'd just give the brew a stir now and then and hopefully that will kill them and add a bit of protein to the brew :snork:

Possibly maggot burgers if you can get enough. They'd probably be quite nutritious :ideaIPB:

                          My Dear, Dear Spruce,

They are just Hoover Flys, so if you have a Dyson they won't bother you:biggrin:

Can't follow everyone, otherwise i'd be Genesis in 1978.
