I do but got rid of a lot of nettles recently so probably won't be able to make much this year.
    I love the smell.

Ive got a wheelie bin with a small hole drilled near the bottom with a wooden plug, I put all kinds of soft green stuff in it.
I occasionally pour some water into the top,not large amounts, and pull out the plug after a few days to drain it down.
All I can say is it seems to be similar stuff to the nettle brew.

          Nooo! :yikes:

Nettle soup is delicious, quick and easy to make. Nettles can also be used like spinach for cooked dishes such as pancakes, bread, curries... (I don't think they'd work in a salad.... ;))

          Finnish nettle soup:
          You'll need:
about 1.5L tender leaves of young nettles
about 1L liquid (veg stock or water and cream)
some butter and flour to thicken
          salt

Parboil the nettle leaves for a minute or two, drain and chop.
Melt the butter in a clean pan, mix in 3 tbs flour, allow to foam but not brown and add the hot stock or water.

Let it thicken for a couple of minutes, add the cream and the nettles, simmer for a moment, taste and season.

          Eat. (Image from Nokkoskeitto)
