    Hi all.

Bought some patty pan seeds from netto and did the usual thing - started them off as soaked seeds for a few days until they put out tips, put them in small pots on the windowsill to give them a start, then when the weather looked good and stable, put them in bigger pots in the greenhouse.
So far so good - they grew pretty well with nice healthy leaves with no trace of mildew, then when they started producing fruit, the fruit would grow nice and big, turn completely yellow, then within a day, go brown and manky and sometimes fall off. This happened in the G/H, and in the ground outside...

    Not good.......

The yellow courgettes I tried this year are super and almost keep up with the good yields I've had from "green bush' courgettes. (sorry, can't remember what variety the yellows are, but from Lidl or netto I think ....) :)

    cheers,
    Dave
