I am planning a new border, very deep and long, for when i retire

So far have made a plan and got lists of suitable plants, but would like to make a start on raising some perennials for myself. the site is very sunny, well drained, and has been a fallow field for many years.

Just wondering if anyone has seeds of anything they would save for me and post on? Happy to pay postage/send sae/whatever.

Or if anyone is splitting some clumps and would be prepared to send some little bits?

I have some nice clumps of Verbena bonariensis, some good Acanthus, foxgloves, cardoons, all seeding well which I would be happy to pass on to anyone.

    Best wishes

    Hi Ariadae

I have some spare seeds of Dianthus Sooty you can have if you want, it isn't a perennial though but a hardy biennial, if you sow some now they will flower next year.

I have some lychnis coronaria alba, orange crocosmia and lysmachia punctata. If you are interested I can send you some clumps in September. I could probably give you some potentilla Monarch's Velvet as well, if you like. PM me if would like!
