My yellow buddleia has developed a branch with cream coloured flowers on it. As I have seen white buddleias but not cream, I came in to google about it and found that there is a similar one already being sold. Mine is paler but that could be photography.

It's called 'Moonlight' and like my yellow 'Sungold' is across between B.Davidii and B. Globosa [the orange ball-flowered one].
I shall have to take cuttings as I found that these 2 crosses do not set seed- which is why the 'Sungold' flowers all summer.

Most attractive Liz, lovely colour [IMG]

After my buddleia was cut back, following some insect attack, I didn`t hold out much hope for any flowers this year but it is now producing flower buds. They will only be very small as it is so late in the season but I don`t mind as long as I can enjoy some butterfly activity on it. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Hi Liz, I have this Buddleja weyeriana 'Moonlight' as a cutting from a Lady Sombody-or-Other's garden (my sister was a tenant on her estate and a bit fell in my pocket as I brushed by).
I took more cuttings this spring and they all 'took' and are very vigorous, more so than the davidii cuttings I took at the same time. As you say, it flowers like mad right through to autumn .
