New compost area

    Finally, after a couple of years using builders dumpy bags to compost in and store manure, I have built a new 3 bay compost area. Each is 4ft square so should heat up and compost well.

    Now to fill it up!

      They are buried a good foot or more. The sides wave about a bit but I'll be connecting all the tops of the posts together to held stabilise them a bit more. Then I'll grow some wild roses along that piece.

        It looks smaller than Monty Don's ... you sure its big enough? :heehee:

        I've been promising myself a pucker multi-bay composting station for years ... still using a piling system though.
