I've got myself a Nissin Di 866 Mk ii and took a few pics just to see how much difference it made, still learning about settings with it connected directly on the camera so any tips more than welcome as this was purely in Auto mode.

Hi Tez very handy I often use fill in flash in daylight photography to eliminate the shadows, and very useful when very fast speeds are required indoors:)

I just looked closer at the flash and it seems to have a second smaller built in flash at the front so will check if it fires automatically or if I have to play with settings.

Seems to be doing very well on full auto!

The main purpose of the sub flash Tez is to act as a fill-in and reduce shadow if you are using bounce flash.

Yeah true, I just didn't realise there was one on the flash lol so this is a good thing as going direct with the flash usually blows the image out, well my first few shots did at least hehe.
