Hi, I thought I would start a new thread to show the progress of my garden over time. I am hoping to transform into a nice colourful garden (eventually). Below are pictures of the previous garden, the new garden and where I am now. Looking to get shrubs and perennials in soon and will post any progress.

Hoping for the rain to finally stop so I garden dries out and I can widen the borders and plant more shrubs / perennials.

I obviously had the main work done by landscapers but due to budget constraints left a blank canvas. I intend to add more plants to the widened border which already has plants and then to widen the other 2 borders and plant along them. Not too sure what I am going to plant. Going to wait until the shops start selling summer flowering shrubs / perennials before I really start adding many more plants.

Try to get some evergreens in for winter interest. I'd start ordering some plug plant collections of perennials now. They're cheap and a good way to start populating empty space
