New GC donation post

    Since yesterday the GC donation post has been moved to the bottom of the thread page. Could this be changed again please? It was fine further up the thread previously. I have a seventeen inch laptop screen which means my posting box is now right at the base of my screen and I can't scroll it up. It also means I can only see part of the post I am replying to above it.

        The 'Donate' link was always on the front page and I presume it's there as well as on each page (I never look at front page).

        It's OK for me at the bottom :scratch:

        Can the banner title of a thread have a link to the 'Donation' as it seems to have links to its own thread?

        IMHO I think it is sad that we need it at all,I don't need reminding every time I visit GC and I do try to subscribe every month,this is just Woos opinion and it is not intended to cause anyone any offence,there I feel much better now;):)

              I agree, Woo, but unfortunately not all members think as you do and need a "jogging" of their conscience to even make them consider a donation. As you well know, from your long experience of GC, we have a small core of permanent members and a churn over of members who come and go and haven't formed a connection with the Forum. Even if the reminder prods one member into donating then it's justified it's existence.:snork:
