    Good Evening All

New Girl here, I have recently only got into gardening now that the children are older and don't need constant supervision and am wanting to get a greenhouse or potting shed. I don't have a very big garden but wondered if anyone has any experience they are willing to impart with regards to best size, shape etc.

Hello Chuckles and welcome to the forum. I'd say get as big a greenhouse as you can afford, mine is 8X8 and thats too small - (and is difficult to keep cool in the middle of summer). - but I always have it packed with salad and veg.

Location is important, it needs good sun if you intend to grow tomatoes/peppers/chillies. If you are able then get the long side East/West to maximise sunlight.

Get one with automatic vents unless you are at home all the time, it will help during the hot (!?) summer months.

I've got a second smaller greenhouse 6X6 in a shadier part of my garden under some tree which I use for crops that don't like to be baked (i've got early potatoes in there right now and will follow on with cucumbers)

I'm sure theres lots more, others on here will tell you :)
