New Girl in My Life !

We had to let our faithful Cocker Maya go 3 months ago due to a severe heart condition. I could not announce it on here. Life goes on , and after some pressure from the Grand Kids a new Cocker lady will join us later this month . She is only 4 weeks old now, a blue rhone and tan bundle of mischief ! We are letting , with guidance ,the GKs choose the name . Elliots suggestion of "Fang" or "Darth Maul" will not make the short list !

Sorry to hear your loss from a few months ago Harry :( But your new addition looks adorable!! I also agree with those names not making the short list

We've been advised to get a Cocker, now we've moved out here!

Ellen we got the Cocker from near to Bakewell at a lovely breeder in Unstone. As Val said Cocker Spaniels are a really wonderful dog , my wife has kept them for 30 years . Her KC name will be Dreamfields River Pearl , sounds a bit too posh for me ! Her family name is going to be .... well we can't decide yet, most likely " Oi stop that , come here you little monkey ! "

 

Small world! a lot of people around here seem to have either Cockers or Westies

 

So sorry for the loss of Maya, Harry. Treasure her memories (as I'm certain you will).

Aww, that little bundle (Dreamfields River Pearl) is absolutely heart melting! I'm sure the GK's will find the name which will most suit her.

puppy is absolutely adorable & such an interesting colour too, i've never seen a blue roan who also has tan marking before...such a stunning combination
