Hello, I am an italian gardener suddenly transplanted in Germany, and I am trying to get used to gardening in cooler climates. Since my english is a lot better than my German I decided to try this forum!

Right now I live in a rented house with a very large but gone-wild garden. I am trying to make some order in the mess (but I cannot chuck out the mildewy tea roses planted but the mother of the landlady, sigh) and carve out some place for my own plants, mostly rare hydrangeas, some perennials and annuals ( I love seeds!), and my newly dug and planted kitchen garden.

Gardening is such a source of joy, beauty and knowledge for me, and these things are always better for being shared, so here I am. :)

Welcome aboard G.C. You will find they are all a lovely lot on here. How lovely Ivory living near Koblenz - I haven't visited the Black Forest area of Germany for far too many years. It's a lovely part of the world.
