    Hi,

We just moved into our new house last july so the only thing been done is cutting of the grass. The lawn is large and the grass looks good to me apart from daisys and clover but once cut looks not too bad.

Anyway if anyone can help me get it looking nice it would be appreciated, I have a 3 year old son so if any weeding or feeding has to be done it has to be safe for kids. I don't expect a bowling green lawn but i would like it looking nice!

Welcome to GC thunda600. :) I'm not sure what weed and feed products you can use regarding child safety, but we have members that are lawn experts who can help you and somebody will be along at some point to give you advice.

Got a new petrol lawnmower last week and gave it cut on the highest setting so hardly anything took off. Hopefully the next dry day I will get it it cut on the next setting down, Apart from that i have no idea what to do next.

Can always spray with a selective weedkiller like verdone which should clear most of it.
