    Hello folks,

My big goal this year to get my lawn sorted. It's been a bare patch of earth for a year now.

I'm going to level the earth and then, we want to lay turf.

Before turfing, though, should I consider adding down new topsoil or improver? Our soil is quite clayey and I want to ensure the turf has the best chance of taking and thriving. Thanks.

Well I think you could incorporate some soil improver if its really claggy clay.
    How big is the area?
You could need quite a lot perhaps?
