New member, but keen to learn

Hiya,

New member to the forum, based in Ireland.

Recent first time homeowner, so with that came my first garden - smallish back garden in a new build estate (probably not great soil due to a lot of builder leftovers buried beneath)

My gardening knowledge is non-existent but I have done a good bit of reading & research (online mostly) lately, however, often find conflicting advice which has me doubting it all.

So, knowing my limitations and being a good listener, I am looking forward to joining the forum here, where those with the knowledge can hopefully help guide me and who knows, down the line, I may be able to help others once I increase my own knowledge.

I apologise in advance for any naieve questions or that question that has been asked multiple times before but maybe the latest thread is a couple of years old.

Don't be afraid to ask as many questions as you like, I ask some daft ones and I've loved gardening since I was a child, but am still learning.

And the best way to learn is to get down and do some practical gardening. We learn best from our mistakes - I make hundreds of them, but we learn from them.
