Hello - I have just joined this Forum, and just wanted to write and say Hello to everyone.
I am 66, from the Bristol area, and very much an amateur gardener. My main interest is in growing fruit and vegetables.
My wife is the really keen gardnener, but as she is not very computer literate I am really joining on her behalf!
I hope to meet one or two of you in these pages as time goes on.
    Regards,
    Barry

Thanks for the welcome Anthony. We live just outside Bristol too - in Nailsea. But as no-one outside our area has ever heard of Nailsea, it's usually a lot easier to just mention Bristol In any case, I love the City and it's my home and my roots, so I do regard myself as being part of Bristol even if not in the City boundary itself! (Come on you Reds!!)

    Thanks again,
    Barry

    Hi Barry.

I know Nailsea. I'm from a town called Yate which is north east of the center of town. I'm not from Bristol originally but i've been here 10 years now and love it. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else.

    Ant.

    Welcome Barry
    Enjoy your stay with GC.
You are right... I have not heard of Nailsea!
But then how many people have heard of Wiggington?
    Robert.
