    Hi folks l have just joined gardeners corner I came across this web site whilst trolling the web trying to find an explanation for the tasteless quality of the tomato gardeners delight and found some very interesting posts from obviously knowledgeable people here so thought I should Join the club I look forward to picking a few brains and perhaps making some gardening friends

        Enjoy GC, Tom, the GC Gang are very friendly and we have gardeners from outright beginners, the hobby gardeners, the experienced, the specialists, those gardening only in containers, balconies, just a concrete yard, those with small gardens and those with an acre or two.........all will be willing to answer any questions you might want to ask.:snork:

                    Well it could be @Tomhip when I eventually find out. :) I moved here from the Isle of Man four months ago and am presently searching for a house to buy. I'm currently renting a cottage that doesn't have a garden unfortunately and I'm missing being able to potter around outside at this time of year. :doh:

                      Some would say it rhymes with banker....... :biggrin:

                      When I first ventured on to the great interwebs, and of course forums, I needed a 'handle' as we all do. At the time, I was (still am) a bit on the cuddly side, and was working as a bus service controller, hence arriving at fat controller. It stuck, and has done ever since.

                      You are in a nice part of the country then, and I would imagine reasonably warm compared to those on the north and east of the country - nice long tomato season too, I reckon?
