Hi Everyone Im a new member,Im hoping to learn lots of new things about gardening. We have a large garden on top of a hill in North Yorkshire so lots of weather elements. Dont know why I called myself Jasper as Im a female. In memory of a much loved boxer dog I expect whos now deceased. Wegrow vegetables, flowers and shrubs and also have a few fruit trees. Welcome Jasper. I live just a short way from Harlow Carr in Harrogate. I was interested to see the curator Mathew Wilson on television say that Harlow Carr was a late garden as it was on clay, which is slow to warm up. I had come to exactly the same conclusion about my own garden, which can still be full of colour in September and October. You may find yours is the same. If so you might as well go with the flow, rather than try to fight it.

 

Hi, Jasper, a female! She didn't say, but Kedi-Gato is named after her cat, Gato (she is also my sister).

There is a lot knowledge on this forum in all aspects of gardening ... enjoy!
