    Hello everyone.
I have just registered on this great site. The name is Kate and I live in North Devon. I spend a kot of time in the garden and enjoy growing shrubs and 'bargain' plants. My best bargain was an Hibiscus that I bought at a car boot sale for 10p. It's beautiful! If I knew how to upload photos I coul put one on here.
Look forward to chatting to new gardener friends.

All you have to do to upoad your pictures is...register at the photo bucket site..then that automatically links in with your pc...then you click on browse and you will see your pictures press select when you have chosen one...then submit..then press edit and resize it to 50% all you have to do to do that is press submit again..then copy the image line..with the left click on the mouse come back to here and right click in the message box and the image will appear when you press add reply..I was scared to turn the computer on when i first got it and i have taught myself..its really easy to upload photos if you struggle with what i have told you to do then message me and i will try to help you..

Hi,thanks for the welcome messages and help re photos, although I'm still at a loss to understand - sounds too technical for me!
It's great in this part of the world 'cos so much overwinters here in Devon that won't anywhere else - have you found that Angelica?
Looking forward to swapping notes and ideas with others.
I have posted a note on the Tools and equipment page re a spring loaded Wolf spade that I am hoping someone can help with. If you've got any ideas I'd love to hear from you. Got this wonderful new toy and now can't use it.

Hi Bobjokat - yes its mostly very mild in this part of the country, I agree we are so lucky. Thats another thing I have in common with you, I love toys, for the garden, computer, car or kitchen!
My best ever garden toy (to date ;) is a gas weed killer wand, its great for the weeds growing between the patio flags and around pathways.
I'm off to look at your post re the Wolf spade now!
