We are lucky if a garden umbrella lasts more than two years, so t'other half came up with an idea to recycle the wooden struts of the frame .... a new obelisk in a pot ....

This pot is too small so I shall have to get a larger one and t'other half wants me to plant up all the horrid 'rogue' passion flowers in it ... so we shall see how it goes. :)

Must go out and water those droopy plants now ......

Thanks Dave W and Cutie. I am really pleased with it ..... the idea and the looks.

Cutie, once yours is covered with climbers you'd never know what it was and so many today are metal/plastic .... go for it! :) The best part is 'it's free'! :thumb:
