A few weeks ago I planted a new rose from a container, the weather was lovely then and the plant was doing great, I couldn't wait for the first blooms to sprout. When they did after about three weeks I was presented with a cluster of big white roses, then disaster, the weather changed overnight and we had thunder storms with 125km winds for two days with temperatures down to 8c and it hasn't stopped raining for the last three weeks.
I have just sat outside watching the petals fall to the ground, it wasn't just this plant most of my other roses suffered the same fate, also the ones in my neighbors garden, she came back from holiday a couple of days ago and nearly cried when she saw the damage.
Oh well back to the.......... by the way, what did they go back to before the drawing board was invented.

What a shame about your roses Simmel. Unfortunately adverse weather tends to have that effect on them.
If you dead head those roses they may flower later in the year and give you some kind of show.
    Just call it Plan B.
