          Maybe, but natural would be more fun. I wonder if instead of using grass, some form of hard wearing low growing mat forming thing might work. Maybe chamomile? Thyme?

              I reckon that would be a better (low maintenance) bet. Grass on the top of the seat would be fine, its just the "arms" I was bothered about. Chamomile or Thyme would be a nice smell to sit on ... and if you took a pot of hot water out you could "mow" it into a cuppa :coffee:
