New succulent flowering

    This is Orbea variegata I obtained from Coreside nursery in Pembrokeshire a few weeks ago. It had two buds and one of them opened today :yay:
    Sorry it's a bit blurred, I think I was too close.

      I thought it was a stapelia, so looked it up.
      Turns out, to stop people getting too familiar with names, they decided to change it!
      Anyway, I've decided I'm too long in the tooth to keep remembering all these changes so I'm going to say....nice stapelia:whistle:

          The flower looks beautiful; it's great that you're taking care of it so well! Just a quick heads up, keep an eye out for any black leaves on succulent. It can sometimes happen due to over-watering or fungal or bacterial infection. Monitor the soil moisture and ensure that the plant gets the right light. If you notice any black leaves, you can gently remove them to prevent the infection from spreading. Overall, keep up the good work, and enjoy your beautiful flowering succulent!
