New Telescope help!!

Hi everyone ☺️

Im just going to get it out there now, I'm a Nerd lol
As well as an Acer fanatic, I'm also a qualified Astrophysicist, with several other armchair hobbies (being disabled has now relegated me to said armchair lol)

However, I still love to gaze at the stars, but my telescope is extremely old and no longer fit for purpose, so I'm looking for a new one.

Can anyone help with advice, as I'm not about to launch my own Into space

I am no help here (sorry) but try looking at The Sky At Night online ‘magazine’ maybe?

 

Yes I'm a subscriber, it's a great magazine, and I keep looking, but maybe I need to have another look lol

 

There have been a number of threads here on astronomy and on telescopes. Maybe have a look here WHAT TELESCOPE TO START WITH.

 

You might find a lot of useful information in this thread Star gazing I followed it when it was first posted.
