Thought I'd put up a few picks of my chicks and their first experience of snow
This is ginger, she's always the first out, I'm sure she's plotting her escape.

Great pictures Jo, must be quite a shock to them if they have never experienced it before. :gnthb:

I noticed the blackbirds in our garden seemed to be really confused by the snow on Monday to start with, they weren't sure if they should land in it and just kept flapping around. Then when they did land they spread out their wings to stop sinking in. They soon got used to it and don't seem at all bothered now.

Bless them :hehe: Its great to watch them experincing new sights ,sounds and textures.

When mine first encountered snow, they were scared of it and wouldn't step off the pop hole flap, now it doesn't really bother them though to be honest they seem to say not that cold white stuff again. No worms for us today then. and go and stand under the wild bird feeders waiting for the spoils
