Here's an extract from the Amateur Gardening Magazine regarding an new Gardening Program for TV being made.

"Are you keeping gardening tradition alive? If so, a TV Production Company would like to hear from you.
Outline Productions, the company behind such series as Great British Food Revival and the forthcoming Big British Wildlife Revival, are working on a new prime time 10 part series for BBC2 called Great British Garden Revival.
Senior Assistant Producer Rachel Harris said "The series aims to revive the Public appetite for gardening, and some of it's bygone traditions. Each week we'll be focusing on a different gardening style or tradition that might have fallen out of popular favour [for example, wildflowers, the rock garden, or the stumpery]. - championed by one the the nation's favourite gardening experts. The series will focus on 20 different themes, and we are now looking to uncover the best stories and characters in these arenas.
Filming starts on 29th July, and will conclude in October. Rachel added "It would be brilliant to hear from any AG readers who feel this applies to them "Email [email protected], or telephone 0207 424 7615"

Not that I want to be a grumpy old geet, but if they televised the old Percy Thrower and Geoffrey Smith stuff I'd watch it - proper gardeners. Can't stand all this outlandish de$igner garden crapola, peddling daft ideas they put on tele so avoid it like the old bubonic.

Othewise, weather is boogerin' loverly 'ere in the Fens like.
