Hi, pip ... you changed something from when I looked this morning. [IMG] I loved the first view, brought back lots of memories, but this one is really special. Is there a name to them there hills you're looking at?

We had friends who lived in Wray, Lancashire ... without getting a map out, I don't know how close / far you are.

    Hi all [IMG]

It is a lovely area, a far cry from where we moved from.

LoL, you are right, I have edited the thread. This is due to the fact that the car owned by my previous neighbours from hell featured in the `Before` picture. Mrs Pip pointed out that if these lovely people were to see this site and their car on it,they are quite capable of looking into some sort of `privacy infringement` and they would seek compensation of some form, be it monetary or otherwise. Believe me, they are the type of people who would do such a thing.

On a lighter note,Wray(AKA scarecrow village) is about 30 miles north of here, never been but I would like to go up one year and marvel at all the scarecrows.

Them there hills are known locally as Healy Nab,Heapey and Rivington Pike. Ignorant me doesn`t know the collective name for the range [IMG] [IMG]

Part of the Penine chain Pip cycled over Rivington Pike a few times sometimes called Winter Hill, got photos somewhere of me and my lad stood near the transmitter mast once when there was a freeze on, the icicles on the mast were enormous, safety notices all round warning of the danger.
