          Best of British @joolz68
Take any and all support/advice available from your GP/smoking cessation group and keep positive. (Do the stop smoking first though ... you may put on a little weight .. then you can tackle the weight loss as a secondary issue :dbgrtmb: )

I find giving up cold turkey style pretty easy, ive done 3yr and 1yr stints but i end up starting again at some for no good reason:wallbanging:
I dont find our docs much help than passing leaflets to you anymore,i remember yrs back they put onto a group at hospital for support which was really good,i gave up for yrs with the visual and sensory tactics they used :eeew::eeew:
Same with diet, they just give you sheets of paper, which is helpful for great veg, fish, etc but no good recipes for family meals,i could do with slow cooker healthy meals also as sometimes we are all on diff shifts so i get brainache thinking about shopping :heehee:
Maybe somebody will make a diet food thread :):):)x

I intend to stop being a buffoon, but I reckon I'll struggle with that.

I also intend to continue on my mission to get fit. I've been progressing well on that front, only I've had a recent setback, in that I've bought some baccy for the first time since Easter. I'll be knocking that on the head again before I even go back to work in the new year. I have to. Fitness and smoking may be compatible to some extent when you're 20, but not when you're 40 and overweight.

My resolution is not to make one.
They usually only last a few days anyway.

I need to start my daily home yoga practice up again, and make sure I do it. I can't get to a class at the moment & can feel myself starting to seize up!
