Newb from near Edinburgh.

    Hi all.

    I come from Edinburgh and have been gardening from birth, for cash since 2004 and as a self employed chap since the end of last year. I'm constantly looking to improve my plantsmanship and seeking inspiration.

    I've been looking for a good forum for a while to occupy those moments when I'm doing admin and my eyes glaze over. This seems to fit the bill.

      Welcome, you have definitely found the right forum.People on here are not only very knowledgeable but also very friendly. I live in Fife and used to live in Edinburgh so know the challenges of gardening up here in Scotland, but also unless you are very unlucky the benefits of an acidic soil and seldom clay to deal with. There are also some excellent "legal eagles" on GC who have been extremely helpful to me recently!
