Newbie alert!

    Hi people!

    Newbie here! I've been gardening for several years now, but I don't think I've got any better at it! I'm away at university six months of the year, so I try to do as much as possible on weekends that I'm at home (or I'm on the phone bawling instructions at my mum :hehe:). I finally managed to acquire an allotment early last year, which I absolutely love! As well as having mature fruit and nut trees, I managed to get quite a harvest of my own...although I wish I'd planned a bit more before planting, but hey ho! Next year the Master Plan will come into fruition :D.

    Hope to gain much advise from this forum, especially for long distance gardening! And I apologise in advance for any glaringly novice, newbie-type questions!
