    Hi All

New to gardening this year and I just can not get enough. I have turned a neglected garden into a little haven. Complete with veg patch and greenhouse. I can't wait for next spring.

Are there any bulbs I can plant now that will flower in autumn/winter?

I watched gardeners world last night and saw winter daffodils are there others

    Thanks Steven

You could try some Autumn Crocus which will flower in September/October. I have loads and they are quite nice as they are something new to flower when so many things are over. Not a bulb but you could consider hardy Cyclamen which grow from corms mine are about to flower now with me but maybe flowering already if you live in the South of England. Great foliage and will cope with dry areas. They flower for ages, well into winter here. For winter flowering bulbs there are Snowdrops and another is Aconites. These 2 flower together time wise. Sure there are others but the above are enough for me. The 2nd photo shows Snowdrops, Aconites and foliage of hardy Cyclamen (photo a bit rubbish sorry!)
