    Hi,
I'm new to the forum and new to gardening!

I have a small front garden (facing East I think) and a modest, West facing back garden.
I guess the soil is clay but I'm really not sure.

Due to illness, both have been badly neglected for several years and become overgrown.
I'm now the gardener. However, I also have health problems and can only go at a snail's pace!

I've been working on both the front and back gardens, getting rid of weeds etc.
With the help of friends and family most of the heavy work has been done. The front garden looks better than it did, and the back is beginning to take shape.

My aim is restore both gardens to how they were, and maintain them. Keep it simple. :)

:sign0016: Unfortunately quite a few of us are restricted physically on here :gaah: , but we have some novel ideas on how to get round harder work, or just simply make it easier.:phew:

Hello and welcome Margie - looks like we're in a similar situation. I'm also a 'first timer' with limited knowledge and ability.

        Good luck with yours :spinning:

Welcome to Gardeners Corner Margie. It's amazing how we learn to adapt when we have health issues, it might slow us down a bit, but we get there. :)

Thank you for your warm welcome! :)

Although I'm sorry that others are also restricted health/mobility-wise, I'm glad that you'll understand that I can't spend an afternoon working in the garden.
