Newbie Intro

Hello All,

My names Chris, I live in North Wales.

Spending a lot of time at the moment trying to get my garden in order. The previous owner liked 'low maintenance' gardening - ie stones, weed matting and patio areas everywhere.

The garden is tiered and is mostly clay - ground level is solid clay - no soil at all.

I've planted up the main shrubs - a couple of mock orange either side of the steps leading up from the conservatory patio and horn beam along the border.

I'll be asking a load of questions on conditioning clay soil and suitable plants - but not in this forum area

Hope to get (and give where I can) some good advice and have a good chat sometimes.
