    Hi Everyone,
Having lived in a flat for nearly 20 years and having vague memories of growing runner beans and tomatoes as a child I was thrilled 8 months ago to inherit a garden, all be it, in a rented house.
Having battled the bindweed, kept the lawn under control, pruned the roses and successfully nurtured new hanging baskets AND harvested fruit from the passion flower we are moving!!
Our new garden is smaller, approximately 20 x 30 feet, and mostly to shrub and I want to transfer a lot of the new plants which I bought. I've put my pansies, sweet williams and ivy into a window box type pot but have other various flowering plants which are bigger, with roots about 8" round, and an apple tree about 4 foot to transfer and would welcome any and all advice.
I don't know any of the names of the plants or where to put them in the new garden, this garden got the sun all day and they thrived. I don't know what the soil is like or whether to keep them in pots or for how long. Please Help!

Hiya and welcome. If I were u and I wasn't sure how long you were gonna be living in a house I would pot up all my plants so they would be easier to move to the new place
