    Thanks Dave saw through my window and thought why not just try it and see,300mm lens,with the weather we,ve had lately I was getting desperate to use my camera:)

    I think you should see what it looks like with a bit of a crop. The castle and church are the main point of interest. If you crop out the trees to the right,most of the bright lights on the left and the half illuminated house in the foreground and leave the roofs and chimneys, I suspect it will look altogether different. Just a thought, I've tried 'cropping' by framing it with fingers and thumbs, but not by copying to my PC.

    Had a faff about with it. Really need to do something with the burned out church tower, but no time.
    Hope you don't mind me borrowing it!

    And, on reflection, I think you maybe had it right first time !!!!!!!!!

    which is about 3 miles away as the Owl flies:hehe: as I live on top of one of the hills of the Medway valley,thats my view
    of the Castle,Cathederal across the valley:)Here,s a link to more information.
