I've a few nightshades in the gaden, 2 are bittersweet with dark leaves and berries and one is lighter, berries too. I know they are toxic, 1 is really starting thrive, other 2 are doing ok for now but how troublesome are they? Should they be removed?

There are lots of poisonous plants found in gardens. I got rid of the laburnum trees when we first moved to this house, our children were young then and laburnum seeds are attractive but deadly.

Nightshade can be quite ornamental too but if you have kids or pets I would get rid.

My kids are teenagers so no worry there, I do have a dog but tends not to bother with plants other than long grass.
