When i got home today i opened all the doors put the kettle on and let the 'girls' (chooks) out to play...i was looking forward to chilling with a cuppa and a big fat slice of battenburg cake...i wandered round the garden while the kettle boiled and when i went back in the kitchen the girls were having a picnic with MY cake !!!!it was everywhere but in no time at all there wasn't a crumb left...Oh well at least they enjoyed it:D and i didn't even have to vaccum up:WINK1:

Oh, and Battenburg is my favourite too, but that's exactly what used to happen to me with my 3 daughters. Actually it wasn't just Battenburg come to think of it:D:heehee::cry3::D

        Any changes in the eggs.
Pink and yellow yolks would take a bit of getting used to:heehee:

I have a similar story. Many years ago, I had a cat that adored fresh liver. So every Saturday I used to get him a small portion of ox liver which he would practically devour in one gulp! One day I decided to get myself some lamb's liver for tea and inadvertently left it on the side (we didn't have fridges in those days!). That was about midday when I gave him his bit. A little while later, I was making myself a cup of tea and from the kitchen window of my first floor flat, spotted this young chap in the garden playing with something white.

Wasn't till about 6pm I discovered what it was - my tea! :wallbang:

He at least had the grace to look sheepish when he came back in but I just told him I hoped he'd been sick! He'd eaten very nearly one pound of liver in less than an hour!
