The top one looks like on of the tree heathers Erica arborea. The middle one is not a fern, but rather a New Zealand plant called Acaena. It is probably A. microphylla, but since there are a 100 species and a fair number of hybrids it is hard to be positive. The seed heads are awful things, they cling to your socks and are very painful too. New Zealand sheep farmers hate them, the 'burrs' spol the wool.
The last one is certainly a Phlox, but the leaves look a bit wide for subulata/douglassii. It could be P. bifida or P. stolonifera. Either way it does not matter, they all are beautiful plants and need much the same conditions.
