Because i only have a balcony i wanted a water feature most where too big found a small one i must say its lovely listening to the water running its an electric one of a labrador dog.
it must be lovely to have a large garden with a pond so envious.

Hi rosa and welcome from another newbie!

Do you have room for a half-barrel? I've seen some delightful examples planted up with miniature lilies and grasses. They become a haven for insects which in turn attracts the birds. [IMG]

hi cobbybrook, i havnt the room on the balcony as it is covered with table, large pots with climbers a bench seat with an arch over it and i have a grape vine, my husband goes mad he thinks i have too much cramped in but everthing is growing lovely so they must be happy.
maybe moving to wales make sure iff i do i have a little garden and skys the limit i will end up with a pond and fish, frogs and all ha!ha! from rosa
