    Anyone have any favourites.
Driving over Christmas so looking for something not made for kids those are just sweet and sticky.
I've tried the low alcohol beers and not found one yet that isn't disgusting taste wise.

Also something you can just buy without going through loads of chemical experiments.

We have 0% alcohol beer here which although it is not as tasty as the real deal, it is easy to transport. There are some that are about 2% which are more full bodied but you need to mind your i take to keep near zero effect.

And if you go for a beer that is normally "designer" and posh, they usually don't taste like water.

I gave up alcohol years ago and now only drink fruit juice at home or, if I’m forced to drink a branded drink I have a bottle of Fevertree light tonic water - only 15 cals per 100 mls and no artificial sweeteners. Fevertree also do a blood orange soda (17 cals per 100 mls) and a Mexican lime soda (16 cals per 100 mls), both also without artificial sweeteners. My OH likes those when having to drive. I just pretend that the tonic has a gin in it! I top it up with lots of ice and it’s surprisingly nice.

(Just for sweetness comparison, Tropicana fresh orange juice has 41 cals per 100 mls.)

I do get the idea about just using the mixer without the alcoholic bit, most are reasonably tasty, ginger ale is good.
I've tried San Pellegrino drinks, which I find OK but one is enough.

        I'm not really into calories.

Depends on your taste I suppose but a Bloody Mary without the vodka is good :)

Just looing at some of those drinks.
Can anyone explain why alcohol free is as expensive, if not more expensive than the real thing.
            Presumably its tax free?

Hmm, can anyone explain why women’s jeans size 10 are the same price as women’s jeans size 22 and twice the price of men’s jeans of any size when they use half the amount of fabric?

              Life is just unfair. :frown:

Adnams Ghost Ship Pale Ale low alcohol (0.5%) is one of the better ones @pete. M&S’s low alcohol Czech lager (0.5%) is also good, if you can find it.

The popular one here for Jim and all men folk who are driving is from Aldi, Spanish I think, Zambujeira. Don't know if they are global with things.

0% Guinness is also good, if you’ll drink bitumen . (Even my brother approves of those other two options I mentioned, normally a high alcohol consumer :roflol:)

I like the taste of Schweppes tonic water (not slimline) with ice and lemon. It has a clean taste. And sometimes have a dry ginger ale, again not slimline.

                        Non alcoholic drinks are horrible.
Alcoholic drinks are also horrible ... except a nice glass of cider on a summer afternoon in the garden

I like a fruit juice with lemonade (apple or apple and mango are my favourites). There are pre-made bottled cordials/flavoured water - like elderflower, mint and cucumber etc if you like those, and you can take your own bottle if going to someone’s house. Have a look in the cordial aisle in SM.
