Non-slip paint options for decking and wooden play gear

Evening all.

My son wants to paint his play gear in bright orange and green. What are my options for non-slip paint achieving such colours?

I'd had a google about, and can see that you can indeed get coloured non-slip paints for decking, but they're all in natural wood colours as far as I can see. Or you can get clear ones.

So, it seems my options might be these.

1. Get cheap emulsion in such colours, paint everything in that, then when its dry go over it with clear non-slip paint.

2. Keep googling to try to find suitably coloured non-slip paints

3. Something else.

Any ideas?

 

If you want a gripey surface, mix's some sand into the paint but it will be rough
