North Facing Fence

    Any Ideas as to what to plant in a border that will grow / climb to cover fence panel ?

    I'd like an evergreen if possible, and do not want ivy.

    I've got honeysuckle growing happily on a North facing wall - mine isn't evergreen, but I know you can get an evergreen form from a post of LoL's recently - if that's any help? It must like it as I don't think the garden had been looked after at all for some years before I moved in.

    Try a Pyracantha, evergreen with white flowers now followed by orange, red or yellow berries depending which you choose. Birds just love them!

    Clematis can tend to go a bit bare at the base as time goes by
