Not a complaint

I am very glad to be a member of Gardener's Corner and enjoy the more light hearted posts as well as the informative and useful information provided by the many more experienced members on this site. I have noticed, however, that a good few of us humbler ordinary members have been demoted to apprentice gardener and our 'post count' has reset to single figures since the site was recently serviced, I hope this is not a comment on our well meant but maybe less well informed contribution to the site . As the title suggests this is not a complaint (maybe a little whinge), about what is a fairly flawless and enjoyable group:thumb: T.D.

I can't answer your question but perhaps someone greater than I can .... which will also enlighten me .....

It's because the upgrade isn't finished yet. Apparently all our bling is in the back up which hasn't yet been migrated - or so I'm told. All should be restored in the fullness of time.

 

Hello Banana Man, I'm not sure of the exact number but I had recently graduated to the dizzy heights of 'gardener', an achievement that I was quite proud of. I would be happy with any count over 100 and to lose the ''apprentice'' part of my title if it doesn't involve too much hassle for you or your fellow admin folk, hope you can locate the Lady of Leisure's cash too, but in any event best wishes and thanks for a great group. I'm struggling to see how a restore can "top up" a moving target ... but good luck with that approach.

 

Nathan, charge a membership fee, Even if it`s just a one off fee of a fiver. The serious GC users will be happy to pay it.:gnthb:
