I joined this site last year but didn't post much, I did read eveyone else's stuff which was great. Hopefully I can learn a lot more again this year and when I suss out how to put photos on I can show my postage stamp of a garden to anyone who wants a look. Something always comes over me at this time of year and I'm just itching to start messing about in the greenhouse. I had a go at growing tomatoes and strawberries last year and me and the kids havn't decided what to try this year. I will be doing my usual baskets, pots, beds and borders and fourth time lucky i've just gotta grow some decent sweet peas. I'm a bit worried about my roses because I chopped them down yesterday and i think maybe i'd left it too late because they had loads of new growth and buds!!! [IMG]

Welcome back Pink roses should be ok most of the new growth would probably get nipped with the frosts, general rule of thumb is half prune autumn and full prune mid feb/mar.

Hi Pink Lady. Delighted to say welcome to someone who has been a member far longer than me. I love postage stamp gardens. Learn how to post and let's have a look.
