My village Salsburgh made the weather news with the wind reaching 77 mph in the last storm. It's also listed as the wettest place in Scotland last year. It's barely snowing so nearly t-shirt time. I know some of you have had a terrible time with floodings recently. Hopefully you are drying out to some degree and getting back on your feet. I'm flirting with the idea of a rice field. Oh and ducks ..

How did 77mph make the news? We've had that here, about 100 miles south of the Scottish border, and yet our news has been on about the cairngorms clocking over 150.

It was after the Salburgh Madras Curry Annual Festival, clueless. But next year Salburgh is holding the Annual Phall Curry Festival where they hope to reach winds of 100mph plus.:dunno::heehee:
