    I have had the same @Logan - I suspect that the server is not happy about something, but I haven't had a chance to get under the bonnet and give it an oil change yet. I will endeavour to get onto it tomorrow, and then we can go from there.

        I just had a message from Logan at another site asking me to get this message to admin here. The problem was with Logan's Bluetooth email, Logan has tried to change it here but isn't getting a confirmation email through.
        Logan has asked me to be the messenger if you require more info about it.

          I have just fired up the computer and was greeted with no less than ten emails all from GC. Personally I'd rather not have such emails. I am content to read alerts etc once signed in.

          I will email Logan now, and get it all sorted by email, assuming that the email address on the system is the new one. I will also PM you my email address that you can pass on. Thanks for letting us know. :)

          I had dozens of emails come through yesterday evening, suggesting that there has been something of a server purge; by default, user profiles are set for you to receive email alerts, but they can be switched off in your personal settings - I will take a look and see if I can access your settings and switch them off.

          Just a reminder folks - the fastest way to get help for anything like this is to tag any of the admin team in a post, send one or all of us a PM, or for anyone who can't get onto the site they can email - [email protected]

            @johnny canoe email sent to @Logan, and a PM also in your inbox. I have altered settings in her account, and believe that it is now all sorted, but please do not hesitate to come back to me if it isn't.

            @Mike Allen - I have changed the settings on your account as far as I can to still give you alerts on the site, but no emails; likewise, if I can help further, please let me know.

                Just had an email back from Logan, and she has now been able to get on. Mike Allen has also been sorted (I think) but if not, let me know and I will have another go.

                  Hi FC , I had troubles as welll. Last week I waa logged out and couldn't get back and I tried the " forgotten your passwrd we'll send you email confirmation " route 5 times and didn't receive anything.
                  Also the " contact us " button, i sent 3 messages via that and didn'r get a reply.
                  Thankfully I remembered the password as I'd still be locked out now.

                      The email server has been playing silly sods for a wee while now, so the contact us link is not always reliable, and resetting your own password will result in the risk of you being locked out if the verification email doesn't get to you.

                      Any problems like this, or to make changes that might lock you out (password change or contact detail changes), just give one of us a shout and we will do our best to help. Worst case scenario, send an email to the [email protected] email address, as that comes to each of us independently of the GC server, and one of us will pick it up from there. Last thing we want is people locked out :)
