Hello, I've been a very bad gardener for about 10 years and have just about got the hang of it now, so I thought it would be nice to share my projects with like minded people.

Here's my back garden from 12 years ago when I moved in.

(I'll sort out this image thing later, I'm cooking my dinner at present, so I'm rushing)

    And this is it now.

I learned lots of things on the way, like don't plant up an entire border just before a drought. And if you need a crowbar to break your clay soil, it's probably a good idea to improve the soil BEFORE you try and jam plants into it. [IMG]

Having got to grips with the back, I've started on the front. (Beginning with an epic tree stump removal) [IMG]

Only 3/4 of that is mine, it's shared with my neighbour.

By the way, Nursewhen is a play on Dr Who, so don't ask me for advice on bad backs and gardener's knee,I won't be any help at all. ;)

Thanks daz, I've finally sorted the images. A combination of scripted window blocking and typing with my boxing gloves on.
    Phew!!

Thanks Dee. Getting rid of the monster Leylandii from hell at the back made it look a lot bigger. Glad you noticed my false perspective trick with the lawn. [IMG]

Gosh, it's nice to get such a warm welcome on a board
