    Yes Ive used Cuprinol Ducksback, it is water based though so not really sure if it protects as well as creosote.

    We used it on all the Trellis fencing that I made 18 years ago. Works well. Does what it says.

    I use Ducksback it is wax enriched and gives a nice long lasting coat . The colour has a nice depth unlike the normal fence paints which seem a bit flat to me. I painted my shed with it , prob needs touching up this year after 5 years .
