Thats the trouble with a temperate climate:DOH:

Must admit I had to put a fleece on with the wind blowing across the plot this evening. The boy cycled down to the sea & declared it unfishable, spray drenching both beaches & a howling gale.

        See what tommorow brings.

I'm the same, i can count the number of nights that it's not on on one hand
I'll bounce straight out of bed if i get into a cold bed at night.

Don't mind the cooler weather myself, it's more comfortable for working in than the oppressive heat you sometimes get at this time of year.
For me, cooler nights make it better for sleeping too, nothing worse than those nights when the house is so hot you can't sleep, even with all the windows open and nothing on the bed. If I don't get my 7 or 8 hours shut-eye, I get seriously cranky!

Suddenly turned to summer down in Dorset. Thinking about grabbing a bottle of wine & going fishing.

We haven't got to the electric blanket stage yet and restisted having any heating on.
We are moving to Portland (near the Bill) tomorrow, at last, after a lot of delays with our buyer but this is only a temporary move into a rented house till we find the bungalow we want. It will be even windier than here!!

There seems to be a pattern emerging, warm spring, cool summer, warm Ocober then a cold November.

Still warm in London. Im in shorts.

A woman in full niqab just drove past me in a convertible.
              It tickled me.
