I used to do a lot of oil painting and used to sell my work locally in public houses.
This one has just turned up at my friends since she moved next door to me, she has it on her wall, told her to take it down but guess what she wont.
my friend said she has another one larger of mine at her mothers the whitley bay lighthouse.
2 turned up at a local auction about 2 years ago they were tall ships one by daylight the other by moonlight, they sold for £100 each, dont know who bought them guess it was someone local.

Lovely, Rosa! And I love tall ships and would like to have seen those. We've seen them pass by the apartment at the IoW and also they glide around here. [IMG]

You should be very proud of yourself! Give yourself a pat on the back ... I'm too far away! [IMG]

When i get my scanner/printer sorted, I have got lots of photos of the tall ships when they were here leaving north shields, so i will put them up for you.
I did have pictures of my tall ships that i had painted but dont know were they are, and doubt very much whether i will see them again or who bought them, could be on someones wall near-by will probably never know.

The girl looking over the railings that is my friend, I painted it for her mother, she took it as her mother is very ill in a home.

pal, I havnt painted for years now, this painting came back to haunt me, thinking i may dabble sometime, but i do like dags paintings very much he is talented.he is into water colours, I used oil paints i found oils easier to work with, I had a large house back then and had a studio in the attic as the turps and oils did really smell.

I hope you can find others that you have done because I'd love to see more.

Wish I'd got half your talent.
